Join us for a wonderful weekend of reflection, rejuvenation and celebration in the beautiful hills of Vermont! This program is designed for women connected to Camp Neringa and Lithuania and who are interested in spending time to nourish mind, body and spirit. We are planning a variety of activities ranging from group discussion, exercise, art, cooking, and individual reflection. You deserve this, so please make the time to join us!
The Counselor Retreat is an annual event in May when current and former Neringa counselors Of all Ages gather at Neringa. The goal is to “make counselors feel like campers again”, so that they can continue to connect with Neringa in their own special way.
Like each and every year, Neringa is eagerly awaiting volunteers who can come and help prepare the Neringa campsite for the upcoming summer.
We have extended our talka weekend a bit this year, but the main work days will still be held on the traditional Saturday & Sunday. This year, however, volunteers are welcome to stay through Monday if they would like to enjoy Neringa a bit longer, while also participating in one or two smaller tasks around camp
Camp Neringa offers a unique opportunity for adults to come and enjoy the beauty of Vermont and become more familiar with the cultural heritage of Lithuania! Art, drama, poetry, music, history, religion, writing, film, food and other topics will be explored.
The program is coordinated by Dr. Aldona Lingertaitienė and is geared towards anyone interested in Lithuanian culture.
Cultural Days at Neringa are being offered to both Lithuanian and non-Lithuanian speakers.
Learn to cook like your Močiutė (Grandmother)! Rediscover the art of making traditional dishes like cepelinai, koldūnai, gira, žagarėliai, LT bread and other dishes beloved by Lithuanians far and wide in your favorite New England setting!
